BluePrint Support - PaperCut Mobility Troubleshooting for Android Devices

Printing at Yale and certain Yale/printing related features require devices to be connected to the Yale Network via ethernet, Yale Secure Wifi, or Yale VPN for access.

 

Troubleshooting: Clear Open by defaults for Google Chrome on Android device 

 

These steps will clear the Open by default settings for the Chrome and Mobility Print apps. Use these steps only if you are having issues locating the mobility print queues. 

Note: Clearing the Open by default settings may reset some Chrome settings back to default.  

  1. Open the Settings menu on your Android device and search for Chrome. Tap the Chrome app. 
  2. Scroll down and tap Open by Default. 
  3. Tap on Clear Defaults 

*Follow the next steps to verify no defaults are present for Mobility Print. After completing these steps return to the original Mobility One Time Set-up document and follow steps 2-6 again, 

4.   Open the Settings menu on your Android device and search for Mobility. Tap the Mobility app. 

        5.   Scroll down and tap Open by Default. 

        6.   Tap on Clear Defaults
