Scanning to Email with PaperCut- Basics 

  1. Sign in to the copier by either swiping your badge or manually typing in your NetId and password. Once logged in, tap Device Functions. 
  2. If applicable, select the appropriate account to charge and then press next. 
  3. Tap the Send to Me (E-mail) button. 
  4. The tabs at the bottom of this page allow you to customize the document being sent. The Quick Setup Tab holds the most used functions available in the Color Image and Advanced Setup Tabs. 
  5. The Quick Setup tab has 6 Primary functions. Tapping them allows you to change presets. 
  6. Color Selection: Let’s you pick black and white, greyscale, and color. 
  7. 2-Sided/ Book Original: allows you to select 1 or 2 side scanning of your document. 
  8. Scan Resolution: This can be increased or decreased. The higher the DPI the better the quality. 
  9. Continuous Scan: This allows you to scan multiple documents from the bed and/ or document feeder. 
  10. Density: This allows you to increase or decrease the saturation of the image. 
  11. File Format: Allows you to change the file type, include OCR, add password, etc.
