Blueprint Copier Rental Program

The BluePrint Copier Rental Program covers more than 2,100 devices including copiers, printers, fax, scanners and plotters across more than 300 university locations. Our unique program offers a single point of contact for increased efficiency in managing your print environment. YPPS and Yale’s Office of Procurement have negotiated favorable contracts to help provide savings to Yale University departments.

Getting the right equipment and keeping it up and running is only the start. Our BluePrint Program will also offer strategic solutions to address:

  • Remote device management
    Implementation of security protocols
    Print output solution management
    Print monitoring analytics and user tracking  
    Vendor service and supply management
    Compliance to Yale University’s sustainability initiatives
    Print fleet consolidation
    Short & long-term rentals
    Simplified billing process

Our administrative support staff is ready to answer any questions regarding our programs.

Our technical support team is qualified to address all networking, security and hardware issues and, questions pertaining to printing across campus. Our technicians are available to address any printer related issues onsite or remotely.

PaperCut is an add-on service offered by the BluePrint Program. PaperCut helps to manage access to any enabled copier or printer with the benefit of increased security, a reduction in paper waste, follow-me printing features and customized PaperCut usage reporting. This is a print solution that can be added to any device with an active BluePrint Copier Rental Agreement. Please contact the BluePrint department at BluePrint@yale.edu or 203-436-9640 if this is a service you would like to add to your new or existing fleet of copiers.

Yale no longer offers centralized support for equipment maintenance contracts. BluePrint provides support for small office devices rented through our program. Devices rented or purchased through BluePrint are supported by our cost-per-copy maintenance program which includes supplies, repair service, and network support. Collaborating with our Yale-vetted contracted vendors ensures continuity, cost savings, and security for everyone in the Yale community. 

 

Devices purchased outside of the BluePrint program and placed on the Yale network without protective measures present security risks for the entire Yale community.
